It isn’t about the technology itself; in 2006, broadband Internet is central to our economy, our communities, our schools, and our way of life.

While governor of Virginia, Mark Warner worked with legislators, businesses, and local governments to help lead the largest rural broadband deployment in the nation. Fully implemented, these efforts will connect 700,000 citizens and over 19,000 businesses to the high-speed Internet.
